Now hiring in Plymouth, MN

Sales Representative

We're hiring our first salesperson. You'd find the businesses, run the conversations, and close the deal, and you'd build the way Snack Club sells from the ground up.

Apply $42,000 base plus commission. Starts January 2027.

What you'd be selling

We run marketing for businesses in the Twin Cities and beyond. We take the whole thing: the website, the ads, the SEO, the email, and the tracking that ties it back to revenue. Every client gets a live report showing what their marketing brought in, not just clicks and rankings, which makes this easier to sell than most agency work. A few you'd be able to talk about:

4.2x return on ad spend

A Twin Cities heating and cooling company. 139 booked jobs traced back to specific ad clicks since May.

$4.4M in deals

A B2B manufacturer. Search tied to more than $4.4M in closed and open deals in their CRM.

17x search impressions

A four-state engineering firm, after we rebuilt their website.

You'd mostly be talking to marketing managers and coordinators running everything alone, and owners of businesses where nobody is running marketing right now. Usually companies where one new customer is worth $1,000 or more, spending $2,000 to $10,000 a month with us.

What you'd do

  • Build your own pipeline Cold calling every day, plus cold email, LinkedIn, and coffees.
  • Get in the room Join local networking groups and get out to events. Chambers, BNI-type groups, industry meetups, whatever puts you in front of the right people.
  • Sign up referral partners Fractional CMOs and consultants whose clients need a marketing team. Deals your partners send are yours.
  • Run discovery calls Figure out whether we're a fit. Sometimes we're not, and saying so is part of the job.
  • Propose and close Put together proposals from our pricing, and close.
  • Run onboarding For the clients you close: get the paperwork signed, collect their answers and account access, and set up the kickoff. Then hand them to our team with everything ready to go.
  • Build the sales process The call scripts, the follow-up cadence, the lead lists, and how you track it all are yours to set up.
  • Log every touch Everything goes in our CRM. That log is also what protects your leads.

Pay and how it works

$42,000 a year base, plus commission. You earn one full month of the new client's monthly fee for every client you close. Close a $4,000/month client and you earn $4,000: $2,000 when their first month clears and $2,000 when their fourth month clears.

At one to two new clients a month, that's roughly $78,000 to $114,000 a year once you're up to speed. No cap. We pay for what you need to sell: software, networking group dues, event tickets.

Contract to hire. The first six months are a full-time independent contractor role (1099). Close $10,000 in new monthly revenue in that time and we bring you on as a W-2 employee.

You're based out of our office in Plymouth. Work from there when you're not out at meetings and events, and run your days how you want. You'd work directly with Joe, the owner. Starts January 2027.

Your first six months

Month 1

Learn what we sell, sit in on client meetings, build your lists and scripts, and start calling.

Months 2 to 3

A full calendar of discovery calls, a few referral partners signed up, first proposals out.

Months 4 to 6

Closing regularly, with a goal of $10,000 in new monthly revenue by the end of month six.

We plan to 4x the business by the end of 2027, and we're adding people across sales and client work to get there. You'd be the first sales hire, and the one who helps build the team as it grows.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years selling a service B2B And you've built pipeline from zero before, not only worked inbound.
  • You're good on the phone You like cold calling, or at least you're good at it and don't avoid it.
  • You've built a sales process Or you want to, and you know what one needs.
  • You know the Twin Cities Or you're ready to get out and meet it.
  • You understand what clients buy You can talk about Google Ads, SEO, and websites without faking it. You don't need to run them.
  • You can tell someone no Not every business is a fit, and that's fine.

Agency sales experience is a plus.
