Tell us what you do

Nothing is posted right now. We still read everything that comes in, and when we do open something up, this is the first list we go to.

Get on the list Two minutes. No cover letter.

What you'd be walking into

There are two of us

Joe runs paid media, SEO, web, and analytics. Bre runs content and creative direction. Everything else is either automated or waiting for the right person.

We run the whole thing

Clients hand us their marketing, not one channel of it. The work moves between ads, SEO, email, content, and web depending on the week. Nothing here stays in one lane for long.

We build our own tools

The reporting dashboards, the chat widget, the review automation, the scan tools on this site. Those are ours, not five subscriptions with our logo on them.

How work starts here

Everything starts as contract work. A defined project, paid, with a deadline. If it goes well it turns into more of the same, and after that into something steadier.

We are not going to post a salaried role we cannot back up yet. When we can, the people who have already done a project with us are the ones we call.

Most of it is remote. We are based in St Louis Park and there is an office, so if you are in the Twin Cities and want to be in a room sometimes, that works too.

We use AI for a large part of how the work gets done and we are not quiet about it. If that is a dealbreaker, better to find out now than three weeks in.

What we run short on

This is not a job posting. It is the shape of the work that piles up faster than two people can clear it.

  • Writing that doesn't read like content Blogs, emails, captions, case studies, in somebody else's voice instead of yours.
  • Social and daily engagement Posting, replying, commenting, DMs. The part no tool does well because there is no API for it.
  • SEO execution Not strategy decks. Page work, internal links, Google Business Profiles, technical cleanup, the things that only count once they ship.
  • Design and creative Ad creative, social graphics, landing pages. Enough taste to know when something looks like a template.
  • Automating what we still do by hand If you write scripts to get out of repeating yourself, we have a list.

If what you do isn't on this list, send it anyway. The list changes.

What actually works here

You decide what's next

You get handed a client and a problem, not a checklist. The people who do well here pick the next move themselves, ask when they are stuck, and send work that has already been checked once.

You'd rather learn it than wait

Half of what we use now, none of us knew a year ago. Nobody is going to build you a training plan. There is a lot of room to grow if you are the type to go find it.

If you want a defined scope and a queue of tickets, this is going to be frustrating. That is a fine thing to want, it is just not what this is.

Get on the list

No cover letter. A couple of links and a few sentences is plenty. If it is easier to email it with the resume attached, do that instead.

Goes straight to Joe and Bre. Nowhere else.

Rather just email it? hello@snackclubmarketing.com. Attach the resume, tell us what you do, that is enough.

We read everything that comes in. If there is something worth talking about, you will hear from us.
