Common questions about analytics.

How much does an analytics implementation cost?

We quote analytics after a free audit, based on scope. Discovery and GA4/GTM rebuild, server-side stack, and Looker dashboards are all flat fees. Ongoing reporting moves to retainer once the build is live.

Do I need server-side tracking?

If you spend on paid ads, almost certainly yes. iOS, ad blockers, and consent banners broke client-side conversions. sGTM + CAPI restores most of it.

What's the deal with consent mode?

Required if you sell into the EU, smart to have everywhere. Google Consent Mode v2 + Cookiebot or OneTrust. We implement the pattern that fits your platform.

Will switching to GA4 from UA hurt my reporting?

Only if you don't rebuild the tag plan from scratch (which is what we do). Lift-and-shift from UA always breaks. Done right, GA4 is a real upgrade.

Can you set up BigQuery?

Yes. GA4 free export to BigQuery, modeling in SQL, custom views back in Looker. Costs typically under $50/mo unless you're huge.

Do I own the dashboards?

Yes. Always. Looker Studio files shared to your Google account. We can manage or hand off.
