Marketing usually breaks one of two ways.
Nobody is running it
You know it needs to happen. It is also the thing that slides every week, because a customer needed something or a job ran long. So the site is three years old and nobody has looked at what any of it made.
One person is running all of it
There is a marketing manager, and there is a lot of marketing. They are not behind, they are outnumbered, and they get asked for numbers they cannot produce alone.
Marketing in Phoenix
A seasonal market where demand swings harder than the budget usually does.
Phoenix demand is not flat across the year. HVAC, pool service, roofing and landscaping all spike with the heat, and the Valley stretches across Scottsdale, Mesa, Chandler, Glendale and Gilbert, each with its own competitive set and its own household income profile.
Most Phoenix accounts run one budget year-round and lose twice: underspending in the season that pays and overspending in the one that does not. We pace budget to the demand curve and prove which months and which suburbs actually book work.
The summer peak is the whole year for a lot of Valley trades. An HVAC account that spends evenly from January to December is leaving the July and August surge underfunded while paying full freight in the shoulder months, and the same pattern hits pool, roofing and irrigation.
Geography compounds it. The Camelback Corridor and North Scottsdale carry the high-ticket aesthetic, dental and professional demand, while the newer residential growth in Gilbert, Queen Creek and Buckeye behaves like a different market with different price sensitivity.
We build the calendar into the media plan, separate the suburbs that convert from the ones that only click, and wire tracking to booked revenue so the seasonal swing is something you plan around instead of something you notice in the quarterly numbers.

Where we'd start in Phoenix
The first three moves, specific to this market.
01
Pace the budget to the season, not the calendar
Valley demand is not flat. We build a spend curve that funds the summer peak properly for HVAC, pool and roofing and pulls back in the shoulder months, instead of the even monthly budget most accounts run.
02
Treat the suburbs as separate markets
North Scottsdale and Queen Creek are different customers with different price tolerance. Running one Phoenix campaign averages them and overpays for the cheaper one.
03
Get review velocity in before peak
In a market where demand spikes, the profile that wins July was built in April. Review generation is scheduled ahead of the season rather than during it.

Do you actually work with businesses in Phoenix?
Yes, remotely. Snack Club is based in Minneapolis and works with Phoenix businesses over Zoom and through your Live Report dashboard. We do not keep a Phoenix office and we will not pretend otherwise. Nothing about the work requires us to be in the room.
How much does marketing cost for a Phoenix business?
Budget is sized to ad spend, scope, and which tools you bundle in. We quote after a strategy call so the number maps to your market and your margins, not a template. Every engagement starts at $500 a month.
How long until I see results?
Google Ads and paid social can produce booked leads inside 30 days. SEO and review velocity compound over 3 to 6 months. We will tell you which one your situation actually calls for.
Will you lock me into a 12-month contract?
No. Every engagement is month-to-month with 30 days notice. If we are not earning the retainer, you can leave.
Should we pause ads in the slow season?
Usually not pause, but reduce and shift. The Valley shoulder months are when cost per lead is lowest and when review velocity is cheapest to build. We keep a maintenance budget running and put the surge into the months that actually pay.
Does the winter visitor population change what we should run?
For some categories, meaningfully. Seasonal residents arrive with different search behavior and a shorter decision window. If your business sells to them, that is a distinct campaign with its own creative, not a tweak to the resident one.
Do you know the Phoenix market well enough to run our ads?
We run the media, the tracking and the creative; you know your market. What we bring is a system that measures which parts of Maricopa County actually book work, so local knowledge gets tested against revenue instead of assumed.
