Common questions about Shopify development.
Ask usDo you build custom themes or start from a marketplace theme?
Both. For new stores, often a polished base theme with custom sections. For relaunches, often a custom theme. We pick based on budget and update strategy.
How much does Shopify development cost?
We quote Shopify builds after a strategy call, based on scope. Theme builds, app integrations, and checkout extensibility (Plus) are all flat fees. The number you get on the call is the number you pay.
Do I need Shopify Plus?
Only if you need checkout customization, B2B wholesale, or international expansion at scale. Standard Shopify handles most $1M-$10M stores fine.
Will my SEO survive a theme swap?
Yes. URL preservation, schema migration, content audit. Done dozens of theme swaps, none have dropped organic traffic in the first 90 days.
Can you headless / Hydrogen / Remix?
Yes when it solves a real problem (extreme performance needs, complex routing, integration with existing app). Usually it's overkill for marketing-led brands.
What apps do you actually recommend?
Klaviyo, Yotpo or Stamped, Rebuy, Recharge for subscriptions, Loop for returns, Gorgias for support. The audit will tell you what your stack should look like.
